Marvel's 'Eternals' Now Showing In Nigerian Cinemas
The much awaited Marvel film 'Eternals' has finally arrived in Nigerian theaters! The wonderful news comes a week after the picture was pulled from theaters on November 4, the same day it was released worldwide.
While the Censors Board did not confirm or deny the accusations, FilmOne Entertainment issued a statement assuring that the team was working diligently to get "Eternals" back to theaters after its "temporary suspension."
On Thursday, November 11th, the distribution business released another statement, confirming that the film will be released on November 12th.
"Promise Delivered. We are happy to announce that from tommorow Eternals will be shown in Cinemas nationwide,” FilmOne shared on Instagtam.
Disney initially refused to budge on its stance, so it's unknown if the production giant caved in and changed the contentious sequence. Marvel's first inclusive superhero picture with homosexual superheroes, directed by Chloé Zhao, has now been acclaimed as a success.
For the controversial sequence, the film was also banned in nations across the Gulf area, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
